Newfoundland and Ireland,

Two lands, one heart

Two lands, one song

Two Lands, one ocean

Like our lives the ocean is always moving

Up and down, in and out,

Never ceasing its perpetual

Rhythm of life and livelihood.

Its vast depths

Form a museum of our history,

An archive of our past

And a model of our pride.

In every wave

There is a story

Of love, discovery and adventure.

A story of survival, life, and thrill.

Physically it divides us,

Spiritually it unites us,

Inevitably it captivates us,

And forever it will embrace us.

Ebb and flow

In and out

On and on

It never stops..................
